Extraction method and source
Selection and Cleaning: High-quality groundnuts are cleaned to remove debris, leaves, and stones to prevent contamination.
Dehulling (Shelled): The outer shells are removed to obtain the kernels, as shells do not contain oil and reduce efficiency.
Drying/Conditioning: Kernels are often dried to a specific moisture level to optimize oil release during pressing.
Mechanical Pressing (Cold Press): The kernels are crushed using a press (e.g., traditional wooden Ghani or a mechanical screw press). The pressure forces the oil out without the temperature exceeding low levels, ensuring no thermal degradation.
Filtration: The extracted raw oil is filtered, usually through a cloth, to remove solid residues and debris.
Bottling: The pure, unfiltered oil is then bottled directly, retaining its natural nutritional profile and health benefits.
